Some crazy bastard talented genius has crafted the ultimate case-mod, a detailed representation of a building based on art from "Doom 3"
He built a miniature airlock whose doors slide open to reveal the PC fan.
He recorded noises from the game to act as his system sounds.
He hand-sculpted a tiny chainsaw and hand-etched demonic symbols into glass.
He posted hundreds of photos of the process online. The final product looks like a screenshot from the game.
To my mind, as far as sheer, over-the-top, head-blowing geek factor goes, it tops the Half-Life 2 case-mod from a few months back.
