Arrogant

Typical. Gen. Michael Hagee, the head of the Marine Corps refuses to resign in disgrace over this whole Haditha thing. This obviously underscores the perception of American military leaders and arrogant and unaccountable. I mean, look at this:

"We want to ensure the investigations are complete with respect to what actually happened on the ground, and actions taken or not taken by the chain of command," Hagee said.

How dare this man think himself above the court of media opinion! I mean, questions have been raised and these reports could further undermine support for the war. Clearly, this is no time to try to figure out the actual facts.
