It's Finally Here!
Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend.
I'm willing to pay $10 because of the promise of these six simple words:The Battle of the Great Wall.
Yes, the new expansion pack has a map to fight on the Great Wall of China. The screenshots I've seen look pretty authentic. Since I've been to Great Wall at least a dozen times, I'm interested to see if the architecture and topography in the game are correct.
But to be truly accurate, they would have to have included the scores of kitsch vendors -- people who sell everything from $1 T-shirts to $100 "antiques" -- who prowl the Wall in hopes of suckering a naive foreign devil. There are times I wouldn't have minded unloading an M249 on some of those folks...
