NEW YORK - They bombarded 911 with calls, crowded the sidewalks in front of evacuated buildings and tuned to the news for word of what was happening. The question on the minds of many New Yorkers on Monday morning was: "What's that smell?"

Huh. I didn't know David was in New York today. Okay, that was a cheap shot. But his excellent Canned Coffee site hasn't been update for more than 2 months. What's up with that? Is Japan no longer a buzzing hub of sweet, tinny coffee beverages?
