Zep gets Grammy
It's about damn time!
Zep was the greatest rock band of all time. Houses of the Holy single-handedly rescued me from Top 40 hell. My mother got me that album for Christmas in 1986. I was a confused high school freshman. I listened to nothing else for a month, and when I did, I turned my dial away from Seattle's pop radio station and tuned into rock station KISW and classic rock station KZOK.
From Zep it was an easy step to Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Beatles, The Who, and so on. I never looked back.
