Amaztype

Damn. someone noticed a cool Amazon.com-related thing before I did.

By piggybacking on the Amazon system (something Amazon encourages with its Web Services program), Amaztype lets you punch in a keyword for a book and spells that word using covers of books that contain that word.

The cool thing is that you can scroll over each cover and it will instantly give you more information, such as the author, price, Amazon sales rank, and customer rating. Clicking on that takes you to the Amazon page for that book. It also works for CDs and DVDs.

There is also a link to a "zeitgeist" feature that shows the most popular search words on Amazon over the last seven days.

It is, I dare to say, a rather nifty little site.
