Montana
Well, we made it to Hamilton, Montana.
We discovered, to our never-ending delight, that the Best Western has wireless Internet access.
Actually, our delight ended some 15 minutes after checking in, when the wireless went out. But it's back up now.
Our placemats at breakfast this morning had advertizements for "Antler Creations", described as "the 'horniest' store in all Montana!".
It is also amazing how small the houses and yards are here, given the massive amounts of land in the area. I bet most of these places are about 800 square feet.
My mom pointed out the house where the "rich people" lived when she was growing up, and it couldn't have been more than 1,200 square feet.
Everyone is incredibly friendly, though. Kids have just come up to us on the sidewalk and started talking. Everyone says hello. Everyone waves.
I'll let you all know if we make out of town alive.
