Hot mathematicians
I never really watched "The Wonder Years". It really seemed like a "Leave it to Beaver" for the 80s, and Fred Savage always kind of annoyed me. Not annoying in a Pauly Shore kind of way, but in a more subtle, younger-kid-next-door sort of way. The kind who, every time you want to go outside to play and do something cool, there's that kid wanting to tag so earnestly. For a while you couldn't turn on the TV without Savage's cuddly, innocent, annoying little mug smirking out at you.
Anyway, one thing I did like about the show was Winnie, the girl whose exotic yet down-home beauty rather tickled my high-school age libido.
It turns out that the actress who played Winnie, Danica McKellar, has the rare distinction, in Hollywood anyway, of having co-authored a mathematical proof, which she did as an undergrad at UCLA after "The Wonder Years" went off the air.
