GDP

Check out this list of 2004 GDP rankings from the WolfieWorld Bank.

One of the most fascinating tidbits is this:

Canada is No. 9, with a GDP of nearly $980 billion.

Why is that interesting?

Because India is No. 10, at $692 billion.

Think about that.

A country with just 30 million people outproduces a country with 1 billion people.

By almost half.

New Delhi and Bombay alone have 30 million people.

All I can say is that is one hell of a lot of softwood lumber and maple syrup.

Way to go, eh?
