Oxygen
I'd like to say I'm enjoying my time in Seattle, but truth be told I haven't even left the house. You see, every morning I wake up and look out the window, and it appears there is no air out there. In Beijing there was daily visual confirmation that the atmosphere hadn't boiled off or something. You could always see there was something out there. On some days the oxygen was so thick you could barely see a quarter mile. I can only assume that the pro-industry policies of George W. have caused the complete destruction of all airborne gasses necessary to sustain human life in North America.
