Lost

I lost my wallet the other day.

I thought I had left it in the office, but when I got in the next day it wasn't there.

Then I thought maybe I left it at home, but when I got back it wasn't there either.

I couldn't really think of how I would have lost it, so I gave it one more day to turn up.

But it didn't.

I finally cancelled the three credit cards that were in there.

A few hours later, I found the wallet in a pair of shorts I had folded and put away.
