Charger Review
The New York Times drives the new Dodge Charger and likes it. Oh yes, they likes it.
But the overall article is quite positive, so there must have something about the car that compensated for these flaws. If you're interested in dropping $30 large on a born-again muscle car with a Hemi heart, you're going to want the reviewer to answer a few more questions. Like how that sub-6-second 0-60 acceleration feels? Did you throw it at some curves? How did it stack up against other cars in its class that you've driven?
Sorry, not in this review. But mounting the DVD player in the central console sure was a smart idea.
"The new Charger is a worthy car in its own right, and in R/T trim with the Hemi engine, one worth considering for families whose needs include zero-to-60 times of less than six seconds."Oddly, the reviewer doesn't talk at all about how the car drives, other than to say it "rides, corners and stops likes a luxury sedan". Uh, okay. Anything else you want to tell us? As a matter of fact, yes. The reviewer spends three paragraphs complaining about blind spots, the long hood, the low roofline, and the slotted windows.
