New Duties In Mitchieville
I've been working on a little secret project for a great humanitarian and lover of mankind. Yes, I speak of course of The Mayor of Mitchieville. You may think he's a hard-nosed SOB, but he's really got a hard-on of gold. It's true. Even though The Mayor makes fun of hard-working Americans -- honest but unfortunate folk with nasty vaginas, like Paris Hilton, Madonna, and Tom Cruise -- it's really because he loves them as people and wants them to change. So what's that got to do with my secret project? Absolutely nothing, I was just rambling.
Anyway, the other day The Mayor says to me, "Scott, your blog is shit, admit it. Don't you think your 8 regular readers would be better off just reading my blog? How about writing something for Mitchieville?" I told The Mayor I would think about it. Then I went out and pissed in his mailbox. Then I felt bad for the Little Danish Girl, who usually checks the mail, so I cleaned it out. But then I remembered he called my blog shit, so I took a crap and put it on his front porch with a note saying, "Hope you enjoy my latest post". But I'm rambling again.
Anyway, The Mayor realizes he has a diverse readership, one with a keen interest in the latest developments in technology and electronic entertainment. Complete dorks, in other words. Somehow, I guess with his womanly intuition, The Mayor figured out that I kinda like video games. No wonder he's in charge of the 43rd fastest-growing community of wherever. Anyway, The Mayor asked me if I'd be interested in writing the occassional video game review on his blog. As soon I wiped away my tears long enough to see my computer screen, I answered that I'd be happy to.
Well, this intro, which I cross-posted at Mitchieville, went on longer than I thought. So I'll save my first actual game review for later.
